Employee blacklisting

Spread the love
Blacklisting is a terrifying word to every employee when they try to find better opportunities outside the organisation. The human resource department will not once share inappropriate criteria to the candidate, the HR will keep or list people ineligible for specific reasons.
Why do employees find opportunities outside?

It might be about the managers, they got nothing to do with the organisation’s structure but all about their reporting manager. Being supportive, kind and motivating make sure that your employees won’t leave the organisation.

Just the reverse if their reporting managers are not supportive enough then you don’t have to expect them to stay.

Other than immediate managers there is another system in the corporate world known as “Employee Poaching”. This means employers poach top employees from their competitor’s organisation for high designation and salary.

Employees might leave the organisation not because they are offering a better package but not respected by their present company.

Failing to evaluate and recognize your employee’s talent might not make them stay in your organisation.

Apart from these two reasons employees might also quit due to some personal problem, but most recruiters don’t accept this reason.

The personal reason may be anything like family, work stress, health and many others.

Create employee blacklist

To make an employee blacklist, the first company must start a database of all applications received, they should allot a unique account for each candidate. The account will have tags and labels specifying the reasons for disqualification so reputed companies will have no chance of doing this as it will exhaust quality of time. Any employee can be blacklisted for simple reasons for this employee can charge the company for improper reasons. So in the case of selecting the employee most of the companies will not reveal the reason for not selecting the candidate. Whether the employee is still working in the organisation then they must state their reason for blacklisting them. Often employees are blacklisted if they are involved in fraud or misbehaving in the workplace or submitting faulty documents in the hiring process.

Why are employees being blacklisted?

Did it ever come to your notice that any recruiter telling you due to the bad performance they are blacklisting you? If your performance is not well they send you notice to resign. These are some of the 3 main reasons behind your employer blacklisting you.

False Personality or Dishonest to job

Having a false personality or being dishonest will blacklist you in every aspect of your life. This will greatly affect while seeking a job. Dishonesty can be tracked down easily on employment supplies like CV. It is found that candidates hide the truth when it comes to their education or past work experiences. This fraudulence can be easily traced by the employer before or after being hired. Always make sure that dishonesty is one of the source to get yourself fired.

The solution is very simple, be honest to your job and never lie. Always be honest with the employer regarding your past work experience, your job roles, your educational qualifications as your future lies as per your talents.

Unethical or Unprofessional attitude towards work

This is a very necessary aspect towards your job. There are certain ways employers can find you unprofessional by tracking your in-person presence or online presence. If you use an inappropriate expression on your public social media profiles or attend a face to face interview in a bad dress or bad reference from your previous boss to your new employer, then your probability of getting blacklisted is more.

Solution is nothing but to be professional. Always wear nice attire in a suit for an interview. Keep your online image clean.

Negligent attitude towards work

If you are being lazy or distracted, showing employers that you lack attention to detail in work or inability to follow their directions shows what attitude you have. Applicants who have spelling and grammar mistakes on their CV or other job application materials; forgetting deadlines, or are late to interviews are certainly careless, and an employer will notice all these attributes

Solutionis to take time before you submit your application to proofread carefully. Double-check the information for application.
